This page explains what information is collected on the Metal in Motion
website, what it is used for, and what your rights are. We collect only the necessary
minimum.
Who is responsible for the information
The site is operated by Michael Peretz — Metal in Motion, 35 Gizo, Moshav Gizo, Israel.
He is responsible for the information collected on the site, and all privacy inquiries
should be addressed to him.
Information you give us
In the contact form we ask for your full name, phone number, email address, the type
of inquiry and the content of your message. In the newsletter sign-up form we ask for an
email address only. The information is used solely to get back to you, to handle your
inquiry and quote, or to send updates if you asked for them. You are under no
legal obligation to provide the information, but without it we will not be able
to get back to you.
Information collected automatically
As on every website, the hosting server records technical access data — IP address,
browser type and time of access — for security and maintenance purposes. The site
has no traffic analytics tools, no social network pixels and no advertising
cookies.
Cookies and browser storage
- Consent cookie — stores your choice in the cookie banner, so that it is
not shown to you again on every page. - Accessibility settings — if you changed the display in the accessibility
menu (text size, for example), the setting is saved in your browser only and is not sent to us. - The map on the Contact page — comes from Google, which may store cookies of
its own under its privacy policy.
You can change your choice at any time through the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner
of the screen, or delete cookies through your browser settings.
External services
- Google Fonts — the fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, so your IP address is disclosed to them.
- Google Maps — the map on the Contact page is embedded from Google’s maps service.
- WhatsApp — clicking the WhatsApp button takes you to a Meta service.
- Social networks — the links to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are ordinary
links only; no information is passed to them until you click.
Retention, security and sharing
Inquiries are kept in Michael Peretz’s mailbox and in the site’s database, for as long
as is needed to handle the inquiry and for reasonable business records. Communication with
the site is encrypted (HTTPS). We do not sell, rent or pass on your details to any
third party for marketing purposes.
Your rights
You may ask to see the information held about you, to correct it or to delete it, and
to remove yourself from the updates list at any time. To make a request:
